Board of Directors

The Australian POTS Foundation is committed to fostering diversity and ensuring that our Board of Directors reflects the rich tapestry of the community we serve. Our commitment to inclusivity drives us to actively seek and embrace diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds, with a particular emphasis on ensuring our female representation mirrors that of the community we serve. Additionally, we value strong community representation in our Board to ensure that the voices and experiences of those directly impacted by POTS are at the forefront of our decision-making. By doing so, we strive to create a more equitable and effective foundation for all.

Ambassadors

Our ambassadors use their voices to help make POTS visible. With lived experience and deep empathy, they champion awareness, advocate for change, and support our mission to improve outcomes for those living with POTS. Their work across media, health, and the arts helps shine a light on a condition that is often overlooked.

Emma-Louise Wilson

Actor and creative with lived experience of POTS
“I was symptomatic for nearly five years before diagnosis — and I had to suggest it to my doctor. We need more awareness, more education, and more support. That’s why the Foundation matters.”

Sophie Scott

Award-winning journalist, author, and health communications expert
“Too many patients are misdiagnosed or left waiting for care. We need better awareness, better education, and real action. The Australian POTS Foundation is leading that change.”

Tracey Spicer AM

Journalist, broadcaster, author and advocate for women, media, and medical equity
“Living with dysautonomia after long COVID showed me just how broken the system is for people with invisible illness. The POTS Foundation is giving a voice to the unheard.”
